With Groups, you can organize your Wyze Cams & Blink Cam together and view multiple Live streams at once. Follow these steps to create a group:
Once your Group is created, the cameras within it will disappear from the Home tab’s device list and will then be located within the Group itself.
Note: You can toggle audio for cameras in a group by tapping the audio icon in the bottom Live stream. Only one camera’s audio can be playing at any given time.
You can change a Group’s listing to remove individual cameras or you can delete the entire Group to remove all of the cameras listed under it. Please note that neither of these actions will delete the camera itself from your account and that only the Group will be affected.
To rename your Group:
The Sharing feature lets other people access and use your Cam v3. Have a family member or other close friend who wants to check a camera? Share it with them right from the Cam app.
Important: Only share your Wyze devices with people you know and trust.

Rules help automate your Wyze Cam v3, making it easier to upload a video to the cloud with a single tap in the app, turn off motion detection at a scheduled time, or turn off the camera when another device is triggered.
To create a shortcut to upload a video to the cloud with a single tap from the Home screen.
Your shortcut will display with a star icon at the top of the Home screen.
To create a schedule to turn off motion detection every weekday between 6:00 PM and 6:00 AM. This comes in handy when you don’t want motion-triggered notifications when you’re home.
To create a device trigger that turns on your Wyze Bulb when your Wyze Cam detects motion.
Speak and listen through the camera using your Wyze Cam v3’s built-in microphone and speaker.
Note: It is not possible to change or control the volume of the audio produced or recorded by the camera’s speaker and/or microphone.
With the Wyze app, you can turn on or off push notifications per camera.
You can turn on or off all Notifications from the Wyze app. Here’s how:
Note: Turning off push notifications bypasses all other notification settings for all your devices. However, It doesn’t turn off Event videos which will continue to be recorded and uploaded to the cloud.
If an individual device has Send Notifications set to off, it will still not send notifications if the Notifications is on in your Account Settings.
Additional Notes:
Wyze Cam v3 includes a magnet in its base that allows it to be mounted to all steel or iron surfaces, no drilling required. Simply stick the base bottom of the camera to the surface and adjust the camera.
To mount it on non metal surfaces, we’ve included a metal plate with an adhesive backing. Stick the plate to your surface, and your camera to the plate, and you’re all set.
If you want a more secure mount, using the included screw kit to mount your camera.
Wyze Cam v3 has new and improved low-light vision, giving you a wider range of possibilities when using it at night.
Wyze Cam v3 has a `1/4″-20 threaded connection underneath that you can use to mount the cam to any standard 1/4″-20 mount.
Since Wyze Cam v3 has much better image processing in low light than most of our other cameras, it’s actually capable of showing a clear image even without Night Vision turned on. Since this relies on at least a small amount of light in the area to work, it won’t be perfect for every situation, but it will allow you the option of leaving Night Vision most of time time.
To turn on Night Vision, go to the Wyze app and tap on your camera. Tap on the Night Vision icon on the top right.
Here you can turn Night Vision to On, Off, or Auto.
Wyze Cam v3 has 4 LED infrared LED lights that are turned on when Night Vision is on. You may notice a clicking sound when Night Vision is turned on or off, which represents the IR filter moving away from the lens to let the infrared light through.
Wyze Cam v3 can toggle the IR lights between three settings when using Night Vision; Far, Near, or Off.
To toggle the IR light brightness, use the following process:
Wyze Cam v3 has a pretty excellent deterrent for bad guys that you don’t want hanging around your home – a siren. It’s a loud squeal that you can control from the Wyze app.
